On the palate it shows notes of refinement and good tannins; it is soft, silky, balanced, with fresh acidity and an intriguing balsamic scent. Excellent with rich and powerful first courses, based on white truffles and porcini mushrooms; roasts, game, poultry, braised and seasoned or spicy cheeses.
