FyA Tempranillo Rioja 8M D.O. / I.G.P

Color and Appearance: High layer, clean and bright. Cardinals in thin layer denoting full youth.
Nose / Aroma: High intensity. It shows its aromatic potential, fruits of the forest (blackberries, redcurrant, raspberry), together with a well integrated wood. Provides tertiary notes such as cocoas, coffee, spicy.

Piérola Crianza es un vino tinto de la D.O. Rioja elaborado por Fernández de Piérola. Se trata de un monovarietal de Tempranillo. Las uvas proceden de viñas que superan los 30 años de edad y cuya producción es inferior a los 5.500 kg/ha. La vendimia se efectúa manualmente.

Piérola Rioja Tempranillo Reserva D.O.C.

Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Vinification:
The grapes come from old vineyards, from 45 to 65 years old, giving low yields that offer high concentrations of polyphenols and colouring matter.Fermentation of destalked grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks equipped with cooling jackets to maintain temperatures below 30 °C. Maceration with skin contact for 30 days, with twice-daily pump-over.

Piérola Rioja Tempranillo Blanco D.O.C.

Grape Variety: 100% White Tempranillo
Vinification: After a very dry cycle we had some rains in late September, which was perfect for the evolution of maturation, providing better balance and increasing final fruit expectations. Skin contact (pellicular) maceration of destalked grapes at cold temperatures before fermentation for 36 hours. The must is then carefully separated from the skins and fermented in contact with its lees stainless till tanks.

Piérola - Cyatho Verdejo - Rueda D.O.

Grape Variety: 100% Verdejo
Vinification:
After examining closely a number of vineyards between 25 and 30 years old, on stony terrain, we have selected 100,000 kilos of 100% Verdejo grapes which best reflect the specific characteristics of this region. We are using cold fermentation between 16 °and 18° C. in stainless steel vats with the lees for 19 days until finishing the sugars. After that, we make the first racking to take out the thick lees and keep the wine with the tie lees putting them into suspension twice per week to remove fatty compounds that provide mouthfeel and volume sensation.

Piérola - Traslascuestas - Ribera del Duero Roble D.O.

Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Vinification: Vineyards are older than 20 years old and the yields do not go more than 4.500 kg/ha, manual harvested in small cases of 15 kg and grapes pass through a selection table to avoid bunches not according with our quality, although this year the grapes` healthy was very high. After a soft crushed of the grapes we make the first process of maceration in cold stainless steel vats (8ºC) for four days, to extract aromas as much as possible and after that we will place the wine for fermentation using autochthonous yeasts, this process long no more than 10 days until sugar are out. Maceration process again at least 15 days to get volume and fat which will balance the wines.
